Shipping & Delivery
1. Application of this Policy
1.1.This Shipping and Delivery Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions by reference and must be read as if specifically incorporated therein.
2. Delivery Methods
2.1.Blue Phoenix offers 2 (two) methods of delivery of Journals to you. You may elect delivery via:
2.1.1. courier; or
2.1.2. self-collection, provided that you have ordered at least 5 (Five) Journals.
3. Delivery Charges
3.2.You will be notified of any applicable delivery charges in respect of your order when you check out. These charges will also be recorded in your order confirmation and invoice,
which will emailed to you.
3.3.Our delivery charges are subject to change at any time, without prior notice to you.
4. Delivery Period
4.1.Where we accept your order, Blue Phoenix will deliver the Journals to you as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than 4-7 business days of receipt of your payment, except during sales and/or special events, such as Black Friday, when delivery may take up to 15busin ess days (“Delivery Period”). We will notify you if we are unable to deliver the Journals during the Delivery Period. You may then, within 7 (seven) days of receiving such notification elect whether or not to cancel your order for the Journals. If you elect to cancel your order, we will refund you for the purchase price.
4.2.The above Delivery Period is applicable to all major centres and their immediate surroundings. Major Centres are Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, George, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, and Polokwane
4.3.Regional areas can expect 1-2 additional business days’ delay. A regional area is not a major centre. Most regional areas are not serviced daily. In extremely remote areas, these
may only be serviced on a scheduled basis. For example: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. That could be on a weekly basis or fortnightly.
4.4.We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our Journals to any person, geographical area or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.
4.5. Blue Phoenix ’s obligation to deliver a Journal to you is fulfilled when we deliver the Journal to the physical address nominated by you for delivery of the order. Blue Phoenix is not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a Journal, after it has delivered the Journal to the physical address nominated by you.
5. Delivery Address
5.1.You warrant that the delivery address provided by you is complete and accurate. It is important to have the exact delivery address, for example: Building name, Floor number, Flat number, street address of the building.
5.2.This address may be a home address or a business address.
5.3. If you nominate a business address for delivery, you must provide us with your company or organisation name, the name of the representative who will accept delivery, and a contact cell number.
5.4. If your nominated address is inside an estate or similar environments that requires an access code, please provide this code to us or alert the Estate security accordingly,
otherwise please expect a call from our customer services to arrange this, bearing in mind that this may result in a delay.
6. Accepting Delivery
6.1.Your will only be delivered to a valid address in South Africa, on business days between 08h00 and 17h00 and you, or the person accepting delivery on your behalf, may be requested to produce identification when accepting delivery of your order.
6.2.We will make 2 attempts to deliver your order. Should you fail, refuse or neglect to be available and accept the order after 2 attempts, you may be liable for additional delivery
charges or we may elect to cancel your order, in which event we will refund to you the full transaction value less delivery charges already incurred.
7. Tracking your order
7.1.Within 24 hours of your order having been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation containing your shipping details, a tracking number and a link to track your order.
7.2. To track your order, click on the tracking number provided in the email.
8. Risk and Ownership
8.1.Risk of loss with respect to the Journals ordered will transfer from Blue Phoenix to you when your order is delivered to you.
8.2. Ownership of the Journals will transfer from Blue Phoenix to you when we receive your payment and we have dispatched your order to the courier for delivery.
